Life at Sandcastles Nursery is all about discovery and joy! It is a supremely happy and nurturing home-from-home, where children feel safe and supported. And it shows! Our children are confident and curious, eager to explore, try new experiences and develop key skills. This amazing environment is created by our fantastic, highly experienced and dedicated staff, who inspire a love of learning with a full and engaging Early Years curriculum designed to help children develop all the skills they need to transition happily and confidently into school life.

The Nursery is part of St Faith’s Prep, and our youngest children benefit from lots of the school’s facilities, resources and subject experts. While many nursery children continue up into Reception here, there’s no requirement to do so.

A warm welcome

Starting nursery is a big step. That’s why we take great care to make every child (and parent) feel truly welcome from day one. Before joining us, each child is invited for two settling-in sessions and receives an ‘All About Me’ form, which is shared with our whole team so we can prepare their favourite toys and activities. We regularly host sociable Circle Times, and children are also warmly welcomed to our Tiny Toots sessions, held every Friday during term time, to get to know us long before their first official day! Our aim is to build a real sense of belonging for your little one here.
