Year 1 are amazing

Year 1 are amazing! The children in 1R and 1CP have been really extending themselves this term. It is amazing to see how engaged they have been when recording and editing sounds in PowerPoint; something that many adults struggle to do! Working in collaborative pairs, they have read the text for each slide of their Little Red Riding Hood e-books and taken turns to record each other. It has been lovely to see the concentration, fantastic reading (including sounding out some VERY tricky words) and laughter as recording didn’t turn out as expected.
