3, 2, 1 … blast off! Reception is travelling into space, with their classroom transformed into a space rocket, and pupils learning all about the solar system and the moon landing as part of this term’s theme ‘Our Wonderful World’. 

Step inside and you’ll find beautiful artwork, the children’s own moon maps, rocket ships and all manner of exciting space-themed activities, specifically chosen to inspire learning in this key stage of Early Years development and to create a strong foundation for the future.

At St Faith’s Prep, our Reception classroom is a place of limitless possibilities, where children are encouraged to be curious, to explore and to be kind.

Our most recent ISI report celebrates the outstanding provision in Reception, as purposeful and collaborative, with a strategically designed variety of engaging activities promoting children’s development. Inspectors praised all areas of learning and growth, enabling pupils to transition smoothly into Key Stage 1 and beyond.
