The Case of the Missing Gingerbread Man

Nursery became Detectives today as our brilliantly curious little learners set out to solve the mystery of the missing Gingerbread Man!

After hearing the classic tale, the children imagined what might have happened if he hadn’t gone to the river… if he hadn’t trusted the fox… and if he’d made a different choice.

This opened up big, meaningful conversations about trust, safety, and decision‑making — huge ideas for 3 and 4 year olds, explored through play, imagination, and lots of giggles.

Our young investigators used clues, shared theories, and worked together to build alternative endings. A powerful mix of storytelling, critical thinking, art and early emotional understanding – all wrapped up in pure fun!
