NSPCC Assembly to school

Speak Out and Stay Safe

‘I have the right to speak out and stay safe

You have the right to speak out and stay safe

We have the right to speak out and stay safe’

This is the mantra that the children were given today in the assemblies led by the NSPCC. All of them had a chance to think about and discuss the right to be safe, the things that make them feel unsafe, and how to speak out if they need to.

It was also a fantastic opportunity to remind children that at St Faith’s, they can ALWAYS talk to ANY adult in the school if they are upset, worried or scared. The children can also pop a note in the Worry Bunny or go to the Orange Squash Club if they feel that they do not want to talk to their teacher.

The representatives from the NSPCC were impressed with the very thoughtful comments that the children made which really showed their sense of compassion and right and wrong.

We will be holding a Mufti Day on Friday 18 May to support the NSPCC. Any donations will be welcome!
