It’s all in the Prep!

At St Faith’s, we prepare confident, curious children who love to learn, ready for their next adventure.

In this hands-on STEAM class, pupils navigated Lego robots using sensor input. Developing coding and analytical skills, they learnt to control movement motors and how wheel circumference can impact their work.

Creating custom code blocks, they explored how negative numbers can achieve the opposite drive directions of positive numbers, and how to use the gyro sensor input with conditional blocks to control the robot’s turns. Fascinating and fun!
