Virtual Open Day Sat 23 May

Join us from 10am-12 noon

Visiting a school Open Day is usually all about getting a sense of the people and the atmosphere. On a normal Open Day, you would be able to enjoy a guided tour, speak to the members of staff who will be guiding and nurturing your child, see our children at work and play and chat to current parents to get an insider’s view of our lovely school.

While that is not possible at the moment, the St Faith’s family still very much wants to meet you. So we have put together a Virtual Open Day, which we hope will go some way to recreate the experience.

How it works

1. Book a place on our Virtual Open Day

We might not be able to show you around, but Headmaster Lawrence Groves and key members of our amazing team of staff will be available to talk to you individually between 10am and 12noon on Sat 23 May, by phone, Zoom or Teams – whatever method suits you best. They will be able to answer any questions you have about life at St Faith’s Prep, and tell you about the amazing opportunities it can offer your child.

2. Hear from our Head, our pupils and parents, and staff

In the meantime, we have put together a series of videos for you to watch, below, which we hope will give you an idea of the happy, nurturing and creative community of learners we have at St Faith’s Prep. Teachers, parents and children have kindly filmed themselves, mostly from home, sharing their thoughts and experiences on our exceptional school. We hope they go some way towards helping you see yourself here! Scroll down to see them.

3. Join us on the day

The St Faith’s community will be ready to welcome you, if only virtually, at your appointed time on Saturday. It would be worth thinking about the questions you want answered in advance to make the best use of your time slot.

4. Register your child to join St Faith’s Prep

If you feel that St Faith’s Prep is the right place for your child, the next step is registration. The exact details of when schools will resume fully have yet to be decided by the Government. However, for families wishing to join us after half term, our high-quality distance learning will ensure that children have not lost ground during school closures.

Discover St Faith’s Prep – a virtual tour

A personal tour from the Head

Lawrence Groves is offering you a guided tour of the school. It doesn’t quite capture the energy and buzz of a normal day at school, but you will be able to see our lovely, spacious grounds and many of the school facilities. He also paints a picture of the ethos of our school, the warm and supportive environment and the enviable results achieved by our pupils across the curriculum and in senior school entrance exams.

Meet our pupils and parents

Next we invite you to hear from current pupils and parents who will tell you what being part of the St Faith’s community means to them.
