House Music Competition
Following a closely-fought contest, Ash have been crowned this year’s House Music champions. Their song ‘With a Little Help from my Friends’, together with solo performances from Evelina and Bertie were enough to hold off a strong challenge from Beech, Oak and Sycamore.
Other soloists included Edward, Anna, Kuda, Noah, Safiya and a particularly amazing rendition of Beethoven’s Für Elise from Krish.
All Houses performed with enthusiasm and the children have each learnt some fantastic Beatles songs which perhaps they didn’t know a few weeks ago.
We’re grateful to Mr Liddle and Miss Victoria Hall from The Mead School in Tunbridge Wells for judging the competition. It was a great effort from all involved and it will be hard to top next year but we can and we will!
