House Cross Country

On Monday the houses competed in the annual cross-country relay running event. Children from Year 1 to 6 took part for their respective houses and were cheered on by their house mates all the way around the course. Oak were in the lead on the final leg but a fantastic run from Jude L meant that Sycamore came home winners of the event. Therefore, Sycamore are the early leaders on the House Sport competition with Football, Netball, Cricket, Rugby, Table Tennis and Tennis events still to go. Well done to all who represented their house.

On this day all the children in Year 2 walked to Ash Recreation Ground to take part in the Ash Rugby Club Festival. The children were split into groups and really enjoyed moving around the different stations to play games such as Cat and Mouse, Try Scoring, Stuck in the Mud, and Bulldog. After the break they had the opportunity to play friendly Tag Rugby matches against other schools in attendance. They were all excellent on the afternoon and it was a very enjoyable event to attend.
