Topical Tuesday – Fibonacci
Have you done any standing and staring recently? During our assembly this Tuesday we thought about how important it is to take time to appreciate the pattern and beauty in all that is around us. We learned about Fibonacci, whose clever mathematical sequence contains numbers that appear over and over again in nature. After testing our brains with a quiz of close up pictures, we finished by listening to William Henry Davies’ famous poem which begins. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.
What will you stare at this week? I wonder what new things you will notice. Can you remember to tell your teacher or even take a picture to show everyone?
