Making Music

There has been some amazing lockdown music produced this term. From composing, making an instrument and singing to performing, history and theory the children have worked incredibly hard. On top of this, singing and instrumental lessons have continued online, and there have even been online examinations. We have also had two online concerts and weekly performances during Friday assembly.

Despite the success of the online learning, we are thrilled to have everyone back at school! Face to face peripatetic lessons started this week and choirs, together with our instrumental ensembles, should be able to re-start this side of the Easter holiday. It will be lovely for everyone to have the chance to make music together once again. There are also plans for ‘live’ concerts in the Summer Term. Who knows, perhaps we will even have the whole school singing in assembly soon!
