Bikeability

Our intrepid Year 6 pupils have taken to their cycles this week in order to complete Bikeability training. Why intrepid? Maybe you can remember the weather that we have had on recent days. Our unluckiest groups braved driving rain and gusty winds to hone their skills in order to make them safe, independent cyclists. Whether recent learners or champion triathletes (and we have one!), all of our pupils learned important lessons about keeping themselves safe on the road.

Our trainers from Kent County Council were impressed by how polite and enthusiastic our pupils were (whatever the weather) and all who took part have gained new skills that will enable them to become even more independent as they look out in to the world beyond St Faith’s. Look out world, here come Year 6!
