Le Château de Warsy – Final Day

Up early and with bags packed the night before we were on the coach and homeward bound thirty minutes early. Even thick fog and a motorway crash didn’t deter us from getting to the chocolate factory early. We all felt sorry for Mr Burrett who watched with frustration as they instructed us on how chocolate was made and especially when free samples were handed out. Back on the coach and soon we were at Etaples Cemetery where we ate our packed lunches. We found grave stones with names of Arman, Lee, Clarke, Toomey, Sutherland and all the teachers at St Faith’s. It was lovely to see the children celebrating the lives of the brave young soldiers who lost their lives to give us our freedom. Another quick journey, watching Night in the Museum 2, and we were in Calais. Now we wait to board the ferry to complete the final leg of our trip to excited parents who are waiting to welcome us all home.
