More Activities…And A Lot Of Toast!

Mr Mackenzie’s Blog:

Good morning from a frosty but sunny Carroty wood! I am pleased to announce that Mr Burrett and I have survived our evening swim (albeit by hiding on the edge of the pool). We have unanimously voted that Mr Andrews can have the joy of swimming tonight, although the likelihood of him remembering a towel seems fairly slim.

An early morning rendition of SpongeBob SquarePants helped rouse the children from another night of peaceful sleep! The children are all really enjoying this form of alarm clock, and are already trying to guess hat tomorrow’s song may be! Team Year 5 are also very proud to announce that their efforts towards Most Amount of Toast Consumed in a Week are going well!

This morning, after a quick play in the early morning frost, the children have been abseiling, climbing, geocaching and pedal carting! These activities have really pushed the children outside their comfort zones and it has been a joy to watch how they have all rallied around and supported each other.

We now await the imminent arrival of Mr Groves, and with it the opportunity to win a much coveted Carroty Wood Golden Ball!
