Six years of the Great Fire of London

Once again the annual event of burning houses took place at St Faith’s. Don’t worry, they weren’t real houses! They were of course the Tudor houses lovingly crafted by Year 2 during their Design and Technology topic in a recreation of the Great Fire of London! This year was actually quite spectacular, as the fire kept going for 23 minutes! We really did get the sense of how people must have thought and acted as we watched Pudding Lane burn.

Thank you Mr Clark! Having a fire officer at the scene certainly made us feel safe. Perhaps you should have been there in 1666!
